Methods such as having the child read the text sight mark, describe the picture, and touch the sight mark can be used to attract the child's attention.
The monoeular evaluation method (MEM) belongs to the dynamic retinoscopy optometry. During the optometry process, the examiner asks the child to look at the sight mark on the retinoscope and neutralize it with a spherical mirror according to the nature of the shadow movement. If it moves forward, it means that the child's accommodation is lagging; if it moves backward, it means that the accommodation is ahead. When placing the spherical mirror in front of the child's eyes, it needs to be taken and put quickly to avoid stimulating the production of accommodation.
