On October 21, leaders and experts from the School of Physics of Chongqing University visited the group company for visit and guidance. The predecessor of the School of Physics of Chongqing University is the School of Science of Chongqing University, which was founded in 1929. It is one of the three earliest colleges established at Chongqing University. Famous scholars such as Zheng Yanfen and Xie Lihui taught here in their early years. Due to the restructuring of departments in the 1950s, most of the physics teachers and students moved to Sichuan University. Recruitment of undergraduate physics majors resumed in 1977, the Department of Applied Physics was established in 1985, and the School of Science was restored in 1998 on the basis of the Department of Applied Mathematics and the Department of Applied Physics. In 2001, it was renamed the School of Mathematics and Physics, and in 2010, the School of Physics was established.
At the meeting, Wang Gaojun, the group's training director, first introduced in detail the company's development history, qualifications and honors, strategic goals, corporate culture, talent needs, etc.
Subsequently, Hu Zixiang, deputy dean of the School of Physics of Chongqing University, gave a detailed introduction to the school and the School of Materials Science from the aspects of school running characteristics, development history, discipline construction and graduate employment situation. He also stated that he would take this special action as an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the talent needs of enterprises, and use employment as the entry point to further deepen school-enterprise cooperation and exchanges.
